After competing for the top spots for the past several weeks, the top seven runners on the women’s varsity team and the top five for the men traveled to Matthews, North Carolina on September 23, for an early morning race! The team traveled the night before the race for extra time of fellowship and preparation for the race.
The campus of Asheville Christian Academy is the host site for the 2017 Asheville Christian College Fair on Friday, September 29 from 11:00 am to 1:00 PM. Taste of the Arts is our annual kick off dinner fundraiser for the Annual Fund with an emphasis on the Fine Arts Department. Taste of the Arts will be held on Thursday, September 28 at 6:00 pm in the auditorium. Middle School Fall Fun Night, September 22nd 6:00 – 9:00 pm. This year’s event is a charity fundraiser for ASCI Christian Schools damaged by the hurricanes. Students can play kickball, watch the volleyball game, free gym time after the volleyball game, watch a movie, and hang out with friends. The ACA middle school cross country team has held official practices for the past two weeks, but many middle schoolers took the initiative to practice during the summer with the varsity team. The middle school team was ready and anxious to see their hard work pay off, to say the least, as they traveled to Macon for their first Cross Country meet of the season.
