“The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves.  He will take great delight in you; in his love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing” says Zephaniah 3:17.   When asked what her favorite Bible verse was,  Mrs. Cheri Hagan immediately cited this passage and added that it corresponded to her own personal hopes for the 2017-2018 school year.  After teaching at Asheville Christian Academy for nineteen years,  her aspirations have come to be fairly straightforward.  She longs for students to “see God’s creativity and complex design” of man and “stand in awe” of what He has created.  He loved each individual so much that He took the time to make each one both detailed and unique, and He rejoices over what He has created. Truly, who can look at the intricacies of man and not know in his heart that there is a Creator?  It’s no secret to those familiar with the Scriptures that man was designed in the image of the Designer and that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14).

As a new student to ACA, I quickly noticed the spirit and passion with which  Mrs. Hagan teaches.  In her own words, “[her] class provides more variety than America’s Got Talent!” and nothing could be closer to the truth.  She has a “ready to conquer” attitude and is unparalleled in her ability to capture student’s attention.

It is clear that Mrs. Hagan has offered up the 2017-2018 school year to the Almighty God and is eager to help students come to see His perfect design in the human body.
